Race Flier

Thursday, May 08, 2008

2008 DATE SET!

SUNDAY 14 SEPTEMBER, 2008 is the date for the 2nd annual 4 Hours of Pig.

This year we will still be keeping it simple with categories with an open mens and open womens but we will be adding a mens and womens single speed category as well.

Sponsors are in the works and everything is coming together nicely.

Fliers should be ready to be posted and mailed out to local bike stores no later than next week.

We will have t-shirts this year and this should be even more enjoyable than the first race.

In 2006 I was able to donate $500 directly to the Georgia Industrial Childrens Home thanks to everyone who showed up.

This year a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Georgia Industrial Childrens Home and another percentage will help fund an upcoming twilight criterium I have been working on for some time for the spring of 2009. That criterium will also have a fat tire crit for both men and women.

More details to come.
